PART A: NARRATIVE SEQUENCE

Brainstorm in groups on the given theme – The 5 Elements. Generate words that describe a qualitative aspect of one of the 5 elements. Explore the meaning of a chosen word with image and text, using imagination, memory and observation. Observe, visualize, frame and compose a photograph in b/w, using your understanding of light and camera techniques. Shoot a final of 10 photos in black and white (distinctly different images) that reflect the chosen word based on the assigned element.

Inspired from any one of the images selected from the above set, shoot and develop a series of 3 visual sequences of black and white images for a photography exhibition:

• A diptych (set of two images that can function together)
• A triptyph (set of three images that can function together)
• A visual narrative comprising of a minimum 6 images
